“This mural, which I created for my county government during the peak of COVID-19, shows frail human figures encased in glass-like cubes (representing quarantine). These figures move toward the horizon, merging to form a united being that turns to face the virus, equipped with tools to fight it, symbolized by the mask. This piece reflects humanity’s strength in unity, as we come together to overcome challenges. The hands represent a supreme force guiding us.”
